Curly girl. What works?

I've been doing curly girl for the last few weeks. I'm in a budget so some of the recommended products are too expensive
Has anyone got any good, budget recommendations?
My hair looks good on the first day but the top layer frizzes on the second day. I get an itchy scalp too
I'm using an organic shampoo and the superdrug extracts conditioner. Palmers leave in conditioner and an organic get it the cantu gel. I'm not sure the cantu stuff suits my hair
Before I got organic conditioner I was using tresemme and I think the result was possibly better. I'm reluctant to go back to sulphates etc now

Yes, Yes to the Tesco conditioner pictured above. I've tried loads of conditioners and this one definitely gives the best shine.

If your head is getting itchy after a day or 2 then look into itchy m's (google it!) These are different chemicals which some people react too and get desperately itchy from.

I found very little cantu goes a long way ad the blue everyday value Tesco hair gel is great for refreshing curls.

I've gone back to straightening my hair, but I still follow the principles of curly girl and my hairs still in great condition despite the heat Smile

Liskee I actually occasionally think about doing this but don't admit it on the fb group as I'd get flamed do you use something in the way of products to protect your hair from the heat?
