Hi All!

I am going away for a few days in the uk to Alton Towers for 2 days and then LEGOLAND for another 2.

I need something cooler to wear than jeans and long sleeved tops, can anyone tell me if they have seen swing type vests and loose harem trousers eye that will be cool and camouflage my massive belly a bit?! Size 18.

I've run out of time so only have tomorrow to get them so can't be an order online job, will need to physically buy them.

Thanks for your help!!

I’m a 16 with big tummy I’ve brought some lovely Bardot linen tops from Asda cream striped and a green pattern a size up and they are very flattering. I also go up a size for summer tops so they are more floaty in the heat

I've got swing vests from Asda - £4 each I think?!?
Sainsbury's Tu have lots of lovely cotton tops too but slightly more expensive than Asda.

I often get next linen trousers but from the maternity section as they literally just have some elastic in the edges so can grow and shrink which works with linen anyway!

I usually wear with a tunic top often from joe browns or next / boo hoo

Good luck!

Asda have swing vests with v shaped neck and back 2 for £6, I have black and navy versions but they do blue, pink, green and I think yellow too.

Elasticated waists are your friend. I rate M&s cropped wide linen trousers ( more culottes ) as an airy option. Plus H&M linen t shirts as linen hangs better and doesn’t cling to the old muffin top.Well it works for me. H&M also have kaftan type blouses in linen/cotton that are flattering on if you can see some in store.

Next have a huge range of harem trousers, both plain and printed at the moment. Or linen trousers (next/m&s). Next do shirts they call, I think, 'casual shirts'. Loose, comfy, bum covering. They have white, pink and chambray.

Success! Several pairs of lovely harem pants from Next along with a lovely long floaty skirt, and some floaty vests from H&M and Dorothy Perkins. Off to Sainsbury's soon for food bits so will check out their clothes too. Thanks again for your suggestions, I really appreciate the help Smile
