2 day interview - what to wear?

Hi everyone :)

I’ve been invited to a 2 day interview.

The first day is relatively informal, involving a tour and activities plus a social to get to know the team. No further info on what type of activities/social.

I’m struggling to decide what to wear! Jeans seem too informal, whilst standard interview seems too formal for what’s planned.

Anyone had one of these before and can advise what would be best?

Thanks! :)

I would wear a skirt and blouse or a dress with either a blazer or a cardi.

Better to be over dressed and smart than under dressed. It is still an interview...

Not jeans!

DAY 1: Dress & blazer
DAY 2: Wide leg or cigarette trousers, white top & blazer

Depends on the industry and the level of the job, I'd think. I'd wear a suit with a smart top (different ones each day), and take the jacket off if that feels too formal when you get there. But a suit is pretty standard office wear in my jobs, so it doesn't stand out as being overly formal - if your industry is more casual, that might not work. Generally, I think it's better to be more formal than less, at interview, though...
