Talk to me about leg waxing.

I’m in my 40s and I’ve never been waxed.
I grew up out in the sticks and at was never an option. It’s something I’ve just never done.

However I’m thinking I might take the plunge. I’m extremely pale. I make a glass of milk look tanned. My hair is very dark so when I shave I just end up with spotty legs.

Will waxing cure this?
How much does it actually hurt?
Are there any conditions that I need to meet, no cuts or hair a certain length for example?
Any advice?

It doesn't hurt. Go to somewhere recommended as standards can vary.

The hairs need to be longer than stubble but not crazy long - 2 or 3 weeks growth, I'd say.

Exfoliate regularly as if you're new to waxing and your hair is coarse, it can cause ingrown hairs.
