Summer trip dress

Can any body recommend a nice dress and sandals for a trip to Italy with lots of walking. Needs to cover my shoulders as I want to visit some religious shrines.

I'm 5' 4'' and have a belly (Size 14)

Everything I have tried on so far looks frumpy.

Hoping for that polished casual summer holiday look but not finding it.

I got an amazing t-shirt dress recently from Tesco of all places. It's a very simply, knee-length cut and has a small v neck at the back. I wear it with tan sandals and several people have commented on it. It's plain black but also available in a khaki colour.

Boden have lots of dresses which might hit the mark, patterned and plain.

Thanks I will have a look. I didn't realise Boden did a petite range until today.

I will have a look in Tesco too but I generally find Tesco dresses to be too long. I will check anyway.
