This product reads like the answer to all my skin care/foundation prayers, but is it really as good as its hype?

On my third tube - it's brilliant. Don't buy the powder that goes with it - tis crap

MrsSnitch · 26/05/2018 08:37

One of my fave foundations. It really does stay well and you on,y need one pump so lasts ages. I use the IT brush to apply it but works equally well with a sponge

Confusssed · 26/05/2018 10:40

I used it for the first time this morning and really pleased so far. Is just one pump enough to provide the SPF protection?

I DOnt rely on it fir SPF - on sunny days I use Heliocare as my last skincare step

DameDoom · 26/05/2018 11:58

MrsSnitch I do the same and then finish with Jane Iredale or Bare Minerals SPF30 powder.

KTD27 · 26/05/2018 11:59

Yes. Love it.

Confusssed · 26/05/2018 12:12

The girl at the IT counter said it provided sufficient sunscreen so long as I topped it up a little halfway through the day? I'm rarely outside for any extended period of time to be honest, which I told her.

If I was going to be out for much of the day I'd probably combine it with a facial sunscreen spray. Any recommendations?

How much coverage it provide?

Amortentia · 26/05/2018 15:03

I accidentally bought the illumination one. All it seems to do is magnify my pores, I assume the normal one must be better due to the rave reviews it gets.

KTD27 · 26/05/2018 16:15

doing it seems to provide quite nice coverage. I wear Estée Lauder DW on the days I want to be ‘made up’ but am using this more and more and the DW less and less.

Confusssed · 27/05/2018 15:01

It's very decent coverage and is definitely longer lasting than my usual Chanel or Laura Mercier foundation. Still plenty of it on my white flannel when I cleanse at night.

DD has even complimented me on it and she has dizzyingly high standards when it comes to make up.

I use it with suncream under it, just come from menorca and it worked very well, no red nose and my face has just a little colour.

ggirl · 27/05/2018 20:33

I love it..also have the illuminating one which is too glittery for me. Sometimes I mix both.
I apply with beauty blender , also have the concealer which is fab.

I use charlotte tilbury powder to set my t-zone as I'm oily , I also fine it last much better with a primer but atm i use heliocare sunscreen under if I'm spending the day outside so don't use primer as too many layers than.

ggirl · 27/05/2018 20:36

Doingreat It provides almost full coverage depending on amount you use , it is build able as well.
It covers all my redness on cheeks and chin..best thing is it looks so natural , doesn't sit in lines or pores .

Trick is to not use too much.

Doingreat · 27/05/2018 20:38

Thanks @KTD27 and @confussed for responding to my garbled question. Stupid autocorrect

Doingreat · 27/05/2018 20:41

Thanks @ggirl

It sounds amazing. Been wanting to try it for a while. But it's hard to find a stockist where i can try it out.

I think only selfridrges do it. I may be wrong. Do john lewis stock it? Anyone know?

ggirl · 27/05/2018 20:43

I got mine in Canada , you can buy from QVC and can return if you don't like.

IdaDown · 27/05/2018 20:48

QVC Doin - if you don’t like it you can send back and refund

Doingreat · 27/05/2018 21:58

Thanks ladies. Will look at qvc.

I've been using it for 2 years now. I LOVE it! I don't have the best skin so it covers a multitude of sins.

I travel a lot with my job so used to stock up when I was in the US but now IT Cosmetics have their own UK website so I order direct from them:

www.itcosmetics.co.uk/face/foundation/your-skin-but-better-cc-cream-with-spf-50/ITC_0008.html

I also love their SuperHero mascara. It's the only one I've found that is genuinely smudge-free.
