Bright Dip dye help

Hi,

I have agreed to let DD (10) dip dye the bottom few inches of her beautiful long white blond hair a funky colour over the half term holiday...and then she's off for the chop before school starts back.

Can anyone advise how to dip dye so that the line of contrast looks ok, and how I rinse the dye out without it bleeding upwards?

Which dye are you going to use? You need to make sure you section it into about four low ponytails, stick another hair bobble on just above where you want the line to finish. Pop small amount of Vaseline on that area to act as a barrier. Apply the dye one section at a time. After each is applied pop it into a small plastic food bag and tie off with a bobble or piece of foil (I find food bag works a treat). Wash off with head over bath facing forwards one section at a time to stop it spreading out where you don't want it.

When rinsing point the shower head downwards
