Are they safe? How long do they last? Do for self or go salon?

What area are you? I'd say, don't go to Benefit. It's EXTREMELY hit and miss and try ruined my friend's brows, I had mostly good experiences....until they gave me a wax burn. Paid the same amount in a fairly upmarket salon recently and that was fab- best they've ever looked.

Lash tint - I've been doing this for years with the 'old' kits which are now only used for eyebrows.

The 'new' eyelash tint is based on silver compounds and is, for me, a total faff.

If you are not confident, get it done professionally.

Eyebrows - not a problem.

However, watch out for skin staining. The dyes stick to the epidermis and wear off.

If this was your hand, no problem. However, this is the delicate area around your eyes. It won't wear off very quickly at all.

Ouch! Benefit definitely off the list! I'm in the southeast I'll look for some good salons.

The last for about the same as hair dye; so your roots will be starting to show within about a week.

It's sounding like professional is the way to go especially for eyelashes

An expensive hobby if you go to the salon then...!
