Deichmann Shoes

Has anyone had any shoes from deichmanns? Ive seen some nice sandles online from there.

I had a lovely pair of black suede wedge heeled ankle boots from there a couple of years ago. They are like a pair of slippers. One of my favourite pairs, and I have a few😊.

Ds1's had a few pairs of their Venice branded shoes and they've lasted really well.

I've had shoes from there - they were inexpensive and the quality reflected that both in the look and feel of them, so I wouldn't recommend them as your "main" shoes. But if you need something for a wedding etc and don't want to spend loads, they are good.

I’ve had lots of shoes from there for me and the kids (live in Germany!) and generally they are very good quality. Really good for sandals, going out/occasion shoes etc

Thanks everyone, i need a comfy pair as will be doing some walking and these have good reviews, ordered now so fingers crossed they are ok.

@Loveagoodbook I tried those on instore a week ago! Thought they were comfy. Only reason I didn't get them was because I have sandals for this summer, and I'm trying to get good use out of them instead of just a few wears .

Ooh thats good doctorboo, thought you were going to say they were horrible!! Ive bought that many pairs, in the search for the perfect pair!! My OH thinks im mad!!

I have a pair of boots from there. I don't wear them everyday but next winter will be their fourth

They look nice. Neutral so will go with anything.

If they're comfy (and i like the way they look) I think they're worth keeping.

I used to shop in Deichmann before they were in the Uk, but in Germany. They had my size 8/9 shoes in stock, and I never darkened another shoes shop ever again. I was excited when they had a store in the UK.

The only reason I got annoyed with shoe shops was because they’d have a 7, but never an 8. I’d walk out the shop.

My problem with Deichmann is that not many of their shoes are leather, and those that are, are often a bit frumpy. I've had two pairs of leather ankle boots from them that were just as good as more expensive brands, but other than that, I've only bought sandals, because they can't get scuffed toes! Having said that, I have a pair of jewelled gladiators from there that have been favourites for nearly 2 years, and they still make the same ones so I'm planning to get some more soon!
