I'm think of getting a TAC chemical peel.

Has anyone had one before? Did you see results and were you happy with them?

Yes! I had a course of 6 to get rid of some cystic acne scarring I had. The results were really good although I still have a couple of stubborn marks that have faded but not gone.

The aftermath is pretty grim though as your whole face peels off! So the question is how you'll feel going in to work like that. Luckily I have my own office so I could keep checking the mirror, slather on moisturiser and pick off any obvious bits that started to peel off during the day.

Despite all that I would do it again if need be.

@chloechloe Where did you get your peel done?

Fluffycloudland77 · 24/05/2018 19:18

I always promised myself a phenol peel if I needed one. They are seriously effective.

I'm not in the U.K. WaitRun, but I went to the dermatologist for a consultation and then had the peels at an affiliated cosmetic practice that did the treatments.

I'm considering getting this done. I have very bad enlarged pores with decals filaments and was told this could help. Will it?

You can do a peel with Obagi over a period of about 3 months. It's pretty drastic though and you do shed skin for weeks on end. I did it a few years back and it did improve the pigmentation I had quite a lot.
