Culottes and Pear Shape

Would culottes suit a pear shape figure?

I'm 5'6, overweight and very bottom heavy (2 size difference from top)

I really, really struggle with clothes in general, I'm rubbish at styling. Tend to wear leggings and a-line type dresses. I want something lightweight for summer holiday and wondering if culottes would work as would also keep most of my legs covered.

What do you think? Any suggestions?

I’m a pear and I wear them - think they suit my shape well, and as you say they’re good for summer. Can’t recommend any as currently in maternity wear!

What kind of tops do you wear with them?

I’ve been wearing tight tops, or tucked in—loose/long ones look odd IMO. And sometimes a jacket or cardigan.

I do with tucked in tops/blouses. I get lots of compliments!

I often see pear shaped/wider hipped women wearing culottes and think they are the shape that suit them best! Go for it, they’re so comfy
