Comfortable sandals good for walking, non fugly, non leather?

I'm not talking about 10 mile hikes but an hour walking here or there.
Budget around £50, need to be non leather and not that horrible merrels style!!

I love my birkenstocks and can wear them all day walking round (obviously not mountain hikes) but I'm assuming you mean like city/holiday type walks? They do a vegan version now

Thanks! I've looked at birkenstocks, they are a bit above my price range but I haven't found anything I like for less. It's between birkenstocks and DMs for me now!

Clarks have some seriously comfortable sandals. I got a pair of these recently and they’re like walking on cushions!
