Or is it ok and wearable as long as everything else is muted (like black top/jeans/black boots)?

I have one and I wear it all the time. It’s quite dark red though.

Too loud for me but if you like it then go for it. I'd personally go for classic black, indigo blue or grey bht that's my usual colour palette. My dh would have heart failure if I turned up wearing a bright red leather jacket.

Actually I don't like it that much but the one I am eyeing is going for a good price. But you're right - I probably won't wear it because it will clash with my cool skintone.

That one is a bit bright for my tastes. Mine's more of a burgundy colour.
