M & S adding a free gift to order....help me pleeeese!

Does anyone know how to add a free gift to an online order?

I’ve got the item in my bag but just can’t see how I can edit the bag to add the free gift. Honestly I’ve been trying to work it out for 10 minutes and am losing the will to live. Thanks in advance.

Won’t it add on when you click to pay?

On the blurb it says to add the product code to your order and when I get to the stage to pay it just says to “place order and pay” and I’ve read that once an order has been placed it can’t be amended, so I’m a bit reluctant to actually pay until I’ve actually added the product to my order. Sorry if I’m rambling a bit, it’s just I shop a lot online and it’s usually so straightforward!

Just in case anyone else has this problem you have to type the product code in the search bar and then add it to your bag.....I rang M & S!
I know it probably seems obvious, but I just couldn’t figure it out
