Nose pores

Mine are getting worse. Skin care is good and I use a primer but then make up sits right in them so I have lots of little white dots close up. Any suggestions?

I did read that urban decay eye lid primer might be worth a try over my nose. Anyone confirm?

I've never tried Urban Decay but I've tried lots of pore primers - Smashbox, Benefit, Clarins to name a few. None of them did much. I now use this and it's the best I've tried. It works best if I use it on cleansed skin without any moisturiser.

It also stops my makeup sliding off my face by lunch time.

I thought regular facials were also good for diminishing large pores.

@BadTasteFlump that Bioderma look good. I have huge pores on my very oily nose and have tried all sorts of product that dont do anything! Do you use any of the other Bioderma products with it? Boots have 3 for 2 at the moment...

BadTasteFlump · 23/05/2018 11:03

No I haven't yet - I only started using the pore refiner a few weeks ago but I've really impressed with it so that might be a good excuse to stock up for when mine runs out - will have a look at what else they do - thanks Smile

Bioderma is generally good all round, but I don't know the Sebium range. I like their micellar water, and the Hydrabio serum. The Atoderm range of shower products gets another tick, as does the arnica cream for bruises.

Bad taste - I will have to give that go. I have gone back to use mineral powder foundation but on blimey the craters!!! With primer or not!

BadTasteFlump · 23/05/2018 19:38

Ooh Deathray mineral powder made my nose look like a golf ball! I find the lighter I go with foundation the better. I'm using Olay BB cream over the Bioderma at the moment - with a tiny dusting of powder if I need it.

Thanks Bad taste. I like the colour of the powder but it does feel clammy no matter how light the moisturiser so I may well give up on that. I have a small tube of Decleor BB creme and the Erbology ones that are nice so will go back to them.

the only thing I've tried that has worked to minimise my pores is the deceit saponins sanskrit (?) face cleanser. won't work miracles, but did definitely make a change to the look of mine.
