Post Caesarean clothes

Help! I don't know what my style is anymore and none of my clothes fit! I'm 34 and size 12/14 (I was a 10) and 5 foot nothing! Before baby I was a skinny jeans and t shirt person but all my clothes just highlight my lumps now. I'm almost at pre birth weight but my body has just changed!

What I really want is a miraculous pair of jeans that hold in that post caesarean pouch and some ideas about nice style tops that don't make me look like I'm trying to be 20. Any ideas dear mumsnetters?

Having exactly the same problem. Just ordered some Spanx as a short term fix.

I am loving Spanx. I used to think they didn't work, but it was because I didn't have anything to smooth/pull in Blush

How long ago was the c section? Are you asking for “new body shape” rather than “sore scar” clothes?

Next and M&S both do “shaper” jeans - high waisted, holds things in, lots of support etc, in a variety of colours and leg shapes. I’ve also recently bought some Trafalgar straight leg jeans from Boden, which are brilliantly comfortable and supportive, that I bought 3 colours!

m&s Contour Jeans. They also have a range called Sculpt and Lift.

Yes new body shape! 4 months ago now, I know in terms of "getting my body back" that's not long, but I have a feeling this little tummy pouch is pretty much staying where it is!

Thanks @BikeRunSki the contour ones look good... and not too bad for the mat leave budget

If you ever sort out the stylish/non frumpy/non teen tops I’d be delighted to know!

I'm six months post section and I feel you! M&S do really good stretchy sucky inny jeans - super stretch I think? I've been wearing them with an oversized denim shirt. Shirt dresses are also flattering, and handy if breastfeeding.

Gap true skinny mid rise jeans are bloody game changers if you’ve got a Mum tum- thick, just the right amount of stretch so they’re comfortable but don’t go baggy and, best of all, the black pair I’ve got haven’t faded despite being washed a million times.

Oooh @Tamarasnotmyname
And they do good petite sizes! These look lovely Smile
