Best/most comfortable knickers

What are the most comfortable pants you own? In the market for some new knickers! Usually prefer bikini style bottoms but I'm open to other suggestions! TIA.

These in every colour! Invisible under clothes too.

gigi556 · 21/05/2018 08:16

@gastropod are they actually cotton? They don't look it in the photo.

They certainly feel like cotton (with some stretch). Can't check the labels as I cut them off!
They're definitely not that microfibre stuff anyway.

I'm a recent convert to bamboo knickers. Bamboo as a material, rather than its natural state (in case anyone is getting bizarre BDSM chastity belt images in their head). More expensive than a primar k multipack, but your nether regions will thank you!

Sloggi. Keep their shape, well made and last for years with multiple washes. Nothing cheap gets close.

Blahblahblahyadayadayada · 21/05/2018 12:21

Second Sloggi. I don’t know which style I bought but they look like a fairly standard shape and they wash and wear very well.

Shmithecat · 21/05/2018 12:27

Sloggi Zeros. They don't control much but they're totally invisible under clothes.

MildlyFedUp · 21/05/2018 12:31

I bought some Sloggis recently because I was so fed up with uncomfortable pants that I had stopped wearing any. I'm very disappointed, they're just ordinary cotton knickers and they're STILL uncomfortable (the elastic at the groin is always a problem for me). I bought the full brief kind.

I would be interested in any big knickers that don't have elastic round the leg holes.

gigi556 · 21/05/2018 14:14

Hmmm. I had sloggis years ago and remember really liking them. Perhaps worth a revisit then.

These: direct.asda.com/george/womens/lingerie/4-pack-lace-top-high-leg-briefs/GEM303350,default,pd.html

I have them in other colours too, and they're very cheap at £6 for 4 pairs!

ImNotReallyAWaitress · 21/05/2018 14:27

The m&s no VPL supima cotton high leg knickers are super comfy. Where the elastic trim would usually be is really soft stuff that’s not irritating

MidLifeCrisis2017 · 21/05/2018 16:09

Sainsbury's! The bigger the better, five pack, keep their colour and shape.

snowgal · 21/05/2018 16:22

White stuff pants. The only thing I buy from there nowadays, they're cotton, ridiculously comfy, come in lovely prints and last for years :)

TuTru · 21/05/2018 16:24

My partners jersey boxer shorts.
I have knickers but his are way more comfy and appropriate if you ask me, so I just “borrow” them as much as I can xx

Branleuse · 21/05/2018 16:29

John Lewis bikini briefs are the best I've tried in that style. I got them from Waitrose

katseyes7 · 21/05/2018 16:35

My absolute favourites are M & S's low rise garter thongs. l usually have to order them on line, then collect from the store as l can never find them in store. l buy a size bigger than l actually am, and l love them. They're cotton, wash beautifully and they're so comfortable. l can't bear 'big knickers'. l get far too hot!
