I'm on a budget but have a couple of holidays coming up, I struggle to look stylish and put together on holiday.
Can anyone inspire me with their recently purchased bargains that look designer or more expensive than they were!

Lush alternative to flip flops (if you don't mind sliders which seem to be everywhere atm)

River Island £22

I am really against zara, but I was tempted and bought this www.zara.com/uk/en/draped-knot-blouse-p09479069.html?v1=6014551&v2=401028

and a few people though it was from jacquemus!

AnyFucker · 20/05/2018 21:54

Why are you against Zara ?

namechangedtoday15 · 20/05/2018 21:56

Following!

AnaViaSalamanca · 20/05/2018 22:00

Mostly because they copy small designers who are just about successful and mass produce their good designs, plus child and refugee labor, but I am not militant about it and buy something from them every couple of years.

AnyFucker · 20/05/2018 22:03

Pretty much like every High St store then ?

lurkingfromhome · 20/05/2018 22:16

I have been admiring that Zara blouse for weeks but I was a little scared it was far too low cut and I’d either be flashing my bra every time I wore it or that I’d have to wear a camisole under it. How have you found it, @AnaViaSalamanca? Is it as plunging as it looks?

tenbob · 20/05/2018 22:34

Does a £30 top count as a bargain?!

corkspoppin · 20/05/2018 22:40

Pretty blouse from Zara, id probably wear it to work more than casual but that might be where I'm going wrong and not making enough effort

OP posts:
corkspoppin · 20/05/2018 22:41

@tenbob yes it does if it looks like a £100 top!

OP posts:
tenbob · 20/05/2018 22:56

But that looks nothing like a £100 top!

AnaViaSalamanca · 21/05/2018 13:49

corkspoppin the V neck is actually quite narrow so even though it goes deep, it doesn't show any cleavage. I suppose unless you have big boobs and wear a bra that pulls them together (sorry hope you know what I mean). I wore it to office a couple of times with black trousers and red heels.

corkspoppin · 21/05/2018 16:15

@tenbob some designer brands sell plain white Ts for hundreds so there's no knowing really, it's all personal perspective. What are your bargain buys?

I got this jumpsuit recently. I've had loads of compliments on it, it looks great dressed up with jewellery and it's super comfy! Sold out online but stores may have it in.

makeupmaven · 21/05/2018 20:52

Love that Zara top! Except I never wear blouses... Grin

Pinkvici22 · 21/05/2018 21:06

Sweetheart I adore that H&M jumpsuit in the black and spots...and it’s sold out!
