Clothing brand recommendations?

Hi all,
I've recently been promoted at work meaning I have more spare cash to spend on clothing.
Previously I've been shopping at places like New Look, Dorothy Perkins etc (and predominantly in their sales) and have found myself with a wardrobe full of synthetic fabrics that don't really wash well and aren't particularly great quality.

I've love to start investing in a nicer range of clothing, more natural, breathable fabrics and nice cuts but I have no idea where to look.
I've been into the White Company and like the style of a lot of their clothes, and the quality feels good.

Can anyone recommend some shops which are high quality but don't come with a crazy designer price tag? (ie. I'm sure Gucci has beautiful quality clothes, but I'm not willing to spend £100 on a sock)

TIA :)

Are you after workwear or casual wear?

Shops like Whistles, Reiss, Jigsaw, Massimo Dutti, Joseph, Winser London, All Saints and Karen Millen are all good.

Shops like Sandro, Maje and Claudie Pierlot are a little more expensive, but the clothing is beautiful and timeless.

I'd also recommend a glance over The Outnet, Net-A-Porter's outlet store. They often have designer clothing at steal prices.

I love Jigsaw, Toast and Masai

Ps
Only ever buy anything when in half price sales

I love Poetry and Wrap and Hush but I wait for the sales!

At the moment I like Finery, Oliver Bonas, COS and Closet London.

I like some Hush/Mint velvet but it’s a bit frumpy sometimes.

I love Whistles but it’s still a bit too £££ for me - unless there’s a sale.

Work and casual stuff but I suspect they are one of the same as I'm a Nanny!
