Summer clothes for size 16 pear shape

I have nothing, only one pair of jeans. I'm feeling pretty rubbish about my size, but it is medication related, so not much I can do there.

I'm pear shaped, I look daft in skinny jeans, chinos (tapered), harem pants. My jeans are straight leg though

I got some Bermuda style denim shorts yesterday, but I'm not convinced. I'm thinking wide leg trousers. But they all seem very bright and patterned. Also I'm on a tight budget.

Nothing too smart, I'm a jeans, converse, t shirt type.

I’m a similar size and shape. And my legs are my worst bit so have to be covered. I buy plain wide leg linen trousers (Next do parallel leg or M&S or supermarkets are all good) with a close fitting vest top or tee shirt. Then I wear a loose linen shirt over the top like a floaty jacket. Sometimes with a single button done up. I am no fashionista I hasten to add but I can see when I look like I’ve ‘got it together’ outfit wise.

Yoga pants? Look smartish and are great for hot weather. I find skinny chinos great for me and I am pear shaped, although a 12, currently trying to become a 10. (I am an 8-10 on top).

How about a knee length, linen type loose dress with cropped leggings? cool and comfy for me!

What about culottes and culotte jumpsuits?

These have been my saviours over the last few summers! If you suffer from chub rub (as I do), then this will be banished, and you get a lovely breeze up your trouser legs too, with no danger of showing anything to anyone.

I'm a similar size and I've just bought a long stretch, ankle length skirt from Primemark. Really comfortable. I bought it in a blue and white stripe, but they have other colours. £6 too, so not expensive.
