Grey hair toners

I have highlighted hair - I’m dark brown but have had blonde put through it about five times now so it’s lots lighter. I really like it but would really like to see if I can get it greyer as I like the look. I’ve seen toners that I’d like to try but wondered if anyone could recommend one that works well and adds a bit of different colour to the blonde. I don’t know which to try!

I’ve never found a decent one so watching with interest!

Bleach london is good - as is their silver shampoo.

I've got fully bleached hair and use the blue shampoo and conditioner to add a bit of blueish grey shading - leave the shampoo in for 20 min or so while in the shower (I do it while shaving/cleaning the shower) or put it on dry hair and leave it a while and it gives a bit of extra tone.

Hi I did a bit of research as wanted to use toners at home to maintain my hair. Look on Pinterest for info wella toners or YouTube to help you get the right tone. Then buy from eBay/ amazon or Salons Direct.

I think in all honesty you'd probably need to bleach your hair for the grey toner to take, even with the highlights.

I used the touch of silver blue shampoo yesterday and it totally unintentionally made the lightest bits of my hair bluish grey. I only left it on for 5 minutes and was just expecting it to neutralise any brassy areas.

Might be worth a try?

I have that shampoo - I might start leaving it on for longer.
