Hi daughter is getting married in 3 weeks have a lovely dress does anyone have suggestions for underwear to generally smooth everything out. Have had 2 cesareans so have that horrible overlap and a post menopausal tummy. Not really overweight but have a long body so all in one's seem to drag my boobs down. Going to lie down in a darkened room as I have made myself sound hideous ;)

I would suggest a slip that comes below your boobs so you can weay your own bra and not be squashed flat. Be very careful with control pants as they can give you a muffin top roll. I go for light control knickers in microfibre material and slip from M and S

Primark control underwear is actually really good. Quite light, so smoothing rather than massively sucky-in, and not too hot. Comes up super high - I can tuck the waist band under my bra which means it never rolls and gives a smooth line, and good for tummies. And only about six quid!

I recently bought control pants from asos for £15 and they are amazing. They come right up to just under my boobs and smooth my c section pouch baggy stomach really well. They are from their own asos shaping range x
