Good shout on a Spencer tiara. Her engagement ring has one of Diana's diamonds.

Gosh I hadn't seen a photo of Meghan's mum before, now it's clear where she gets her looks from, her mum is gorgeous.

I think architectural too.

This is the Queen Mary tiara I mentioned, also called the Lover's Knot, it's my favourite. I'd wear it to do the housework if it was mine, probably a bit much for the School run though. But I still think the Spencer tiara is more likely.

Isn't the designer going to be Rene and Russo?
My favourite Royal wedding dress is metre Mario of Norway- very striking and uncluttered.

I once saw a photo of one of the York girls looking fabulous in a full length black number. It was a formal posed pIcture, not a paparazzi shot. Google isn't bringing it up.

I'd like to see Meghan in something classic and elegant with no frills or flounces. Ivory or cream with little touches of gold embroidery, perhaps.

I've caught royal wedding fever, am staunchly not pro Royal, but love Meghan and am looking forward to seeing her dress I must say.

I love Princess Margaret's dress - simple and timeless! I think Megan might go for something along those lines.

I have a suspicion Meghan might go for the lotus flower tiara. Can't wait to see what everyone wears

Another Sarah Chatto dress fan here. Most beautiful wedding dress. She looked glowing with happiness too. I didn’t love Catherine’s, agree the rigid pointy bosom looked odd and unflattering, as it made it seem as though her small bust was something to hide, rather than embracing her being willowy . Too much lace too. I liked the billowy floatiness of Diana’s dress, the feminine exhuberance of it all, but it was hellishly crumpled. I remember my mother wincing as we watched it. Sarah Fergusson’s Was beautiful. Camilla’s was faultless.

I hope harry will see a good hairdressor. His hair looked like a bog brush at wills wedding.

Rene and Russo have to be hot favourites but I'd still take a punt on it being Christopher Bailey's swan song for Burberry.

There has been word that as David Emanuel has been in Windsor over the past few days they might be incorporating some of the left over material from Diana's dress into the design.

As for the dress I'm going to guess at a long, slim line with lots of beading.
My feeling is maybe no lace as Kate did that.

As for previous royal wedding dresses; I loved Princess Margaret and Lady Sarah Chatto's. I know it's no longer fashionable to say this but I remember seeing Diana's dress for the first time and it was stunning. Yes, it was very much of it's time and yes it creased badly but I was a child watching it and she looked exactly as I thought a princess should look.

Probably not something to repeat in front of HM but Wallis Simpson's wedding outfit was very elegant. Say what you like about her but the woman had style!

I think MM's dress will be more like Charlene Wittstock's Armani wedding dress (though I hope she looks happier than CW did on her wedding day)

YY to Princess Margaret and Wallis Simpson. I also liked Diana and Fergie's dresses in all their 80s glory. My college ball dress was a bit like Diana's, only not as over the top (and black).

I loved Pippa Middleton's wedding dress. Wondering if Kate will be in beige or blush pink as she's chosen that before when she doesn't want to draw attention from the bride.

I love Mette Marrit's dress - I just wish she'd worn some mascara!

Mette-Marit's dress reminded me a little of Sarah Chatto's in its simplicity. I think the tabloids here would've gone into meltdown if William or Harry married a single mother!

I think white looks fab on black skin though, I watch say yes to dress and black brides look amazing in white.

I’m pale and got married in a beige-y dress. White and ivory looked awful on me.

@QueenoftheAndals Kate wore The Queen's Cartier 'Halo' tiara, and a set of diamond earrings her parents had made for her - the acorn ones that sort of matched the tiara.

At the time I always thought Serena Stanhope wore the most beautiful dress, but I no longer like the skirt, the way the fabric gives way to the tulle. I still love the nod she gave with the neckline to Princess Margaret, who was becoming her MIL.

I loved Beatrice Borromeo's wedding dress but I don't think Meghan will opt for sleeveless.

I think Meghan will go for something quite demure. She knows she's more racy than your average royal fiancée and there has been lots of drama around her family so perhaps she will want to counteract that by going for an elegant, covered up dress. Maybe like Pippa Middleton's but with longer sleeves.

I'm more interested to see what the guests wear though, especially Kate and Beatrice and Eugenie. I really feel for Kate having to go to such a public wedding at 4 weeks PP!!

Kate looked fab 4 hours after giving birth so no worries there.
