Anyone with type 2a / b hair?

Always have to dry my not straight, not curly just frizzy rubbish hair and then straighten which just doesn't look great either.

So I'm trying the curly girl method and after scrunch drying this morning I do have waves! No idea how long they will last. Do look rather separated though.

Anyone got any tips?

Stop blow-drying your hair. When I leave it to dry naturally I get curls but when I blow dry I get frizz. I'm a 2b/c

I scrunch dried it today without heat. They are starting to drop a bit already. It is my first day.

Why don’t you join some of the curly girl groups on Facebook and post on there. They’ve been amazing with advice

This is just a nice big group with 183K members

Another one mix of international and U.K.

There is a uk only group as well but they’ve made it a secret group recently so someone needs to be your Facebook friend to add you.

My hair is fine but naturally wavy / curly.

I wash it with colour shampoo & conditioner as it's highlighted then put on leave in conditioner for fine hair.
I comb out any knots with a wide tooth comb.
Then I put umberto gianni curl jelly through it.
I scrunch my hair upside down using a diffuser.
Then I put ghd heat styling spray on the fringe & top & straighten there so it doesn't look too 80s!
Finally I use shine spray & firm hold hairspray to set it.
It looks like beachy long curls.

If I don't wash it the next day I just comb it & it looks wavy like it's been on big rollers.

I generally try to wash it daily or alternate days as it's so fine it gets greasy & flat.

me! i have very dense, coarse and wire like hair. if i take a hair elastic out, my hair stays in the same place (well it doesnt swish and fall downwards nicely).

does anyone know why my hair is soft the day of washing but like wire wool the next day? i use literally nothing on it. shampoo and condition is all i do.

Yes I'm a 2b with fine hair. So I wash and condition, then gently pat dry but don't wrap my hair in a towel. I comb through with my fingers and use bed head curl recall cream. Then I either allow to dry naturally or with a diffuser on low heat. Head tilted to side or upside down for a bit. I dry to almost there and leave. Then scrunch a bit with my fingers to crunch any curl cream that has hardened. This is the way to no frizz. I never ever brush my hair. Brushing is the path to frizz.
