Help me find a nice pair of wedges

I used to have a fairly expensive pair of summer platform wedges that were leather tan and white. There was kind of hessian on the platform bit and a chunky ankle strap. They were quite high (which is great for me as I'm a short arse) but they were so comfortable to wear. I walked miles in them on holiday last year. Sadly the ankle strap snapped last week and I'm trying and failing to find a replacement. I've trawled my town centre this afternoon and I'm so disappointed as everything looks a bit cheap or naff.

Please help!

Can a cobbler fix the strap? Might be pricey but worth it if you love them?

I tried the flatter version of these on recently (can't walk in heels), they felt really comfortable. There are different colours as well as different heights.

Those Office ones are gorgeous and very comfortable - even the higher wedge ones. Would definitely recommend

Thanks for the suggestion. Sadly I have binned the shoes as I assumed they were unfixable.

Toying between the office wedges and a pair of Dune ones I've seen online at John Lewis...

Gabor seem to be doing these wedge sandles again. I bought them a couple of years ago and they are really comfortable.

My favourite wedges are my Ugg sandals. Super comfortable. Expensive but they last

Look on eBay for the same pair of shoes. I've done this a couple of times that I've worn shoes to death.

I've done the eBay trick before too, I've picked up 'worn once' items that looked brand new.

I got a lovely pair from River Island they were £38 (a lot for me) and I find them easy to walk in.

Have always found Gabor wedges good and have just bought a pair of the Gabor Karen linked to above. Can recommend (and they were reduced 20% in Jones Bootmaker)

Was also going to recommend the Gabor Karen wedges, very comfortable (and I can't walk in high heels any longer) I have some grey suede ones and love them so much I might buy a different colour this year.

I have toms wedges. I also have serious foot pain from RA and i can walk almost all day in them. I got mine in tkmaxx last year but they have them on amazon and the toms website
