Is it really true if i buy a base off qvc but try it and it doesnt work i can return in 30 days? Even if opened?
Im not sure of the colour so if this is true will buy from qvc rather than the brand itself!

yes it's true

they won't refund P&P and you have to pay for the return. But yes, you can try it and even use it e.g. skincare, you might want to see how it suits you over a period of time - and send it back.

in terms of costs, for me, it's still cheaper than if I had got the Tube to a dept store etc and I blooming hate shops anyway.

DartfordBridge · 17/05/2018 18:27

QVC is brilliant

ChesterFuckingDraws · 17/05/2018 18:29

Yes it's true. You can open it, try and and if you don't like it for any reason you just return it.

You pay the return postage but it's worth it in my opinion especially if you're not sure.

Costacoffeeplease · 17/05/2018 18:30

Yes, I buy a fair bit from them, the TSV’s are usually very good value

suchatiredbunny · 17/05/2018 18:57

Yes, as above, but they will contact you if your returns are over 50% I think (there's a vague reference in the T&Cs, but it's a brilliant option to have especially if an item is on easy pay to spread the cost.

littlepooch · 17/05/2018 18:57

Amazing! Thanks all! I dont mind paying for postage as i would have to pay for my travel into central london and more importantly drag a toddler and baby in. This way is much easier for me!

How have i always dismissed QVC before?!

Yes they're great, I've bought loads off them in the past and never had to return anything so far. They have great deals

Costacoffeeplease · 17/05/2018 19:21

I don’t think I’ve ever returned anything either

littlepooch · 17/05/2018 19:26

Im hoping i wont have to return it but im a tricky skin tone so having the option is a bit more reassuring!

If it's for foundations there's a website called findation and if you have a couple of good colour matches it will give you recommendations for other brands.

I love QVC. I have tried some great products over the years and only occasionally sent things back- as others say, only the p&p to lose! The shows also give in depth info about the products so you can give it some thought before ordering without the pressure of a beauty counter sales person

Laiste · 17/05/2018 20:15

Love QVC.

I go through stages of watching it almost daily and then forgetting about it for months on end. Enjoy loving or hating the presenters too Grin

Ordered loads from them.

Love watching the Dennis Basso winter coat shows particularly. often end up spending £££

Abso bloody lutely! That is why I have bought names I had not heard of in the past. Everyone was going on about Tarte so I bought some and am very happy with it. Plus Doll 10 - after seeing Doris take off her make up and how red her cheeks were, I knew it was another of the brands for me!

I get all my Decleor from them. Just recently got some including a BB cream that though in a medium shade does look lovely on my (sort of ) fake tanned skin. I love the dry oil spray (under the light moisturiser as we speak) and have a refreshing mist from them that I also love.

I am so happy that we can return things if we do not like them for any reason - especially perfume or make up - also you can try stuff for about 30 days. Imagine doing that in Boots!

I love QVC too Grin

I don't really like going into Real life Shops to buy make-up unless I know exactly what I want, then I just go and get it.

So to watch the demonstrations is really good for me (even though there a a couple of the presenters who I could happily cleave through the skull , I can always mute them )

YY to Tarte and Doll10 , Mally and Laura Gellor.

I don't buy Benefits but I love the enthusiasm of the presenter of the brand.

I don't think I' ve sent back any beauty products that I can think of .

(Can;t abide Dennis Basso either come to think of it. He talks RIGHT across the presenter Angry )

I've got a good few Centigrade coats though, love them
