Nails...mine keep breaking

What can I do to strengthen my nails, they always break really low down so I go from having reasonably long nails to dreadful short ones. What's the best product for strengthening them?

My nails recently went really weak after years and years of constant shellac. A friend recommended taking Biotin and I've been taking that, along with Perfectil, for about 6 weeks now. Nails are now back to normal. In fact they are probably stronger than before. It took about 3 weeks to get them strong again

Cuticle Oil is good for strengthening nails, but it does take a few weeks (months) to notice the effects. Also good for cuticles

I really like Avoplex, but I think you could use any old oil. But not old oil

High protein diet helps mine.

I find that by the time they look long I struggle to get my contact lenses out. That's also the length at which they tend to break.
