Registry office wedding dress

I'm looking for a wedding dress for my registry office wedding. It's a Friday afternoon, I don't want to wear white or anything long or too short. So midi length, possibly patterned.
I'm a size 10/12, carrying a bit of extra weight around my middle. I'm stuck in an Internet hole and getting nowhere.
Budget wise up to £200. The wedding is I August. Help!

For something pretty but not traditional how about these sites:.
www.nancymac.co.uk/
palava.co/

.. Oh i'm going all occasionwear.. so no good if you want to be low key.

BlueEyedPersephone · 16/05/2018 22:01

I second the non-white dresses from chi chi London, there is a lot of choice with new designs being released over next two weeks

Cissyfuss I've never heard of Nancy Mac and there's a lot on there I love the look of. These too stand out so far although I'm not sure how flattering they will be but I'm going have a proper look through the website in the morning.

Think this a pretty but not bright coloured.

Is this a bit pale? I really like it...

Or what about Joanie? There are some lovely dresses on there, well under budget leaving you with £££s to spend on accessories.

Hobbes have some great stuff for your (which is the same as my) body shape. Would really recommend going to a Dept store, especially if your figure has changed as you might find some new styles that suit you. I wouldn’t pick Hobbes stuff out online but in store I was very surprised!

annandale · 16/05/2018 22:28

Gosh the Nancy Mac site is gorgeous. Would this suit you? Olivia lace

OlennasWimple · 16/05/2018 22:28

This would flatter your middle and leave lots of money for awesome shoes and bag Smile

ISeeTheLight · 16/05/2018 22:32

Have you looked at Phase Eight? Eg this is nice, maybe a bit too light? Or this is a bit brighter.

Also keep an eye on theoutnet, they often get gorgeous dresses in at half or less RRP. Eg this is pretty and cotton/silk blend

LemonysSnicket · 16/05/2018 22:50

ASOS have loads, cheap and stunning. Plus next day delivery Grin

So I'm definitely going for one of the green dresses on Nancy Mac or this. Thanks to the person who recommended them it's just what I was looking for.

Sorry didn't see you'd already chosen one. Good luck with your wedding

OlennasWimple · 17/05/2018 17:37

That green jumpsuit is gorgeous! Just beware that it's seen as bad luck to wear green at a wedding: you might not care, but you might want to prepare a comeback for the almost inevitable comment about "being brave" (or similar) to do it Smile

earlybirdhasanap · 17/05/2018 17:44

Olena I did not know that at all. Shock

I just did a quick google and it said "married in green, afraid to be seen" which pretty much sums up my massive shyness around being a bride. (I hope).

I think it's something to do with attracting the fairies who will make mischief (!) - bridesmaids should wear green, though, to confuse said fairies and ensure that the bride gets left alone Smile

NC4Now · 17/05/2018 18:44

I love the jumpsuit! You could have gorgeous accessories with it.
