Help me find a bikini!

Help!

Going on a beach holiday this summer and I need something new to wear on the beach.

I have big boobs (32G-ish), an hourglass shape and am a size 10-12, but have a very very wobbly belly and love handles (combination of baby weight and sugar addiction...) as well as the larger, wobbly upper arms characteristic of someone with big boobs who doesn't take care of herself as well as she should. Am trying to do something about my figure but, being realistic I'm not going to achieve a massive difference by holiday (beginning of July) and am super self conscious about my wobbly bits.

I am also REALLY dowdy at the moment and need a total wardrobe revamp but until I can do that, I would love some suggestions for:

  • a bikini, swimsuit or similar which will flatter my shape and make me feel less self conscious without being boring and mumsy
  • a couple of wardrobe staples for summer. Jumpsuit, maybe? Or a nice beachy dress (I suit short more than long)
  • accessories which will help me look a bit more put together

I am 5'8" if that is relevant, and fair skinned. I prefer not to buy throwaway fashion (primark etc) and don't mind spending a bit more.

Any and all suggestions welcome! Grin

Brastop had some lovely ones...I teamed this with plain navy bottoms from m&s which were more flattering that the matching ones.

I'd buy a bra sized bikini top and coordinating bikini bottoms

I got this and bought some black higher waist bottoms to go with it

Figleaves has some beautiful beach wear. I just got a lovely costume that holds in my tummy in.

Curvy Kate have nice ones and if you can afford to spend more, I had a gorgeous Ewa Michalak one which is so supportive and comfortable. It’s high waisted which I like to hold everything in. Halter necks are so painful with big boobs so I always end up spending more on something properly engineered! I saw a beautiful tropical Figleaves one on Simply Be in a coral/blue floral print.

Thanks! I have always bought bikinis from bravissimo in the past, so always in bra sizes rather than clothes sizes. Finding a bikini in my size isn't the issue, it's more- what shape would suit me? Was thinking probably something high waisted, though that might cut in just at my flabbiest bit 😱. I'm limited in what I can go and try on as I live outside the uk in a country where women are typically much much smaller than me- finding normal clothes in my size is a struggle, let alone underwear/swimwear! So tricky to try a load of different styles out.

Any ideas for the other stuff?
