I've complexly lost my sense of style.

I need help.

Is there any point in getting a personal shopper? I think John Lewis has this service for a while.

Anyone done this?

I did it with house of Fraser, I bought some nice stuff, not all of it suited me but it was a learning curve for both of us. Be prepared to spend though

Yes! I went to see a stylist at John Lewis today. I can imagine that the result you get very much depends on The stylist you see, but I was really pleased with mine. She really listened and bought so many different outfits to try. She was honest if something didn't look right or if I needed a different size. I came away with a dress, 2 tops and 2 trousers, I spent around £200. I didn't feel any pressure though to buy what i tried. Will definitely go back in the Autumn again.
