I was just wondering if any petite ladies wear maxi dresses/skirts and if so, where do you get yours from? I'm struggling to find any as all the ones I try are miles too long and ideally I would like to wear them with flats...

I’m the same Op, have never managed to find ones that I don’t feel silly in, my dd is petite as well she has some nice ones from river island petite section, also ASOS do a petite range & looks really good in them.
I think for me, it’s a confidence thing.

I bought some long dresses Tom Peacocks - I think they are supposed to be midi dresses but on midget me they are a lovely maxi length 😂

Have you considered buying a too long skirt and getting it taken up? I’ve recently started doing this and it’s been a revelation!

I got 2 bargains from Dorothy Perkins petite this week, reduced to £18.75 each.
Great for holidays (obviously not amazing quality but perfectly ok).

Thank you for you suggestions, I will check out the Next petite and Dorothy Perkins petite ranges. I have found with the Next ones that they sell out quite quickly and there isn't always the range...I should have got myself sorted earlier!

Fluffy - I tend to opt for midis too as they hit my ankle. Sometimes though they just look like they're too short to be a maxi and then I feel silly. But as don'tcallme points out, it's a confidence thing.
Spuriouser - if you don't mind me asking, how much does it cost for you to have yours taken up? I wonder if it would be worth it? I suppose I would for a special dress but it would almost feel like I'm paying twice and would make it seem expensive when all I want is an everyday maxi dress. And then I'd worry that the dressmaker would ruin it!
