My friend is having a body shop party but I can't make it so I said I would place an order . Does anyone have any recommendations for their products to try there seems to be so much choice ?

The body butters are lush , great on dry skin

SoyYo · 15/05/2018 13:55

Hemp hand cream
Moringa Body Butter
Camomile cleansing oil
Rainforest Moisture hair butter/conditioning treatment
Skin defence SPF 50 multi protection essence

I repeat order above time and time again

LockedOutOfMN · 15/05/2018 14:00

I adore the body shop but find it quite expensive. I like the vitamin E and vitamin C facial skincare ranges. I like the hand cream in the metallic tubes (sort of l'Occitane rip off), the nail polish, the lip balm tubs, also their blusher, and the peppermint foot scrub. DH likes the ginger shampoo for his flaky scalp. I also had some festive scented candles from there that were fantastic.

DearMrDilkington · 15/05/2018 14:02

Banana shampoo & conditioner
Hemp hand cream & hemp lip balm
Blueberry body scrub
Jasmine body butter

17caterpillars1mouse · 15/05/2018 14:18

I second the banana shampoo. I love it. The smell is gorgeous

Eminybob · 15/05/2018 14:28

I like their make up and brushes.
Difficult to pin anything down though, depends what you need, it’s all great.

collywobble · 15/05/2018 14:50

I remember the banana shampoo from the 80s , is it the same smell . I used to love it .
I wish I could make the party now it sounds like there are some nice things to try .

Vitamin E hydrating toner
Rainforest moisture shampoo and conditioner
Rainforest moisture hair butter for treatments
I love some of their nice smelling shower gels
They have a new range of body yogurts which I want to try

Tara336 · 15/05/2018 15:53

I like Bodyshop products but beware of friends who start selling it, they go from being easy going people into sales obsessed monsters. One of mine is determined I should be buying shit loads of body shop products that I don’t want or need

SoyYo · 15/05/2018 16:30

I was going to add Rainforest Moisture shampoo too (sulphate and silicone Free and lovely)
DH uses the ginger shampoo and swears by it (he's got normal hair/greasy roots whereas I have dry curly hair and follow Curly Girl method)
We both love the Banana conditioner!

I used to adore their lavender essential oil shower gel, unfortunately discontinued now...

I never ever buy full price...at the moment they have 25% off online for many products and I usually bulk buy at their very frequent sales or sometimes they offer £25 off a £50 value shop, 30% and 40% offers are very common too and I just stock up on my favourites then.

Theyhaveallbeenused2 · 15/05/2018 16:36

Hemp hand cream
Vitamin c facial peel
Himalayan charcoal face mask or bar of soap
Chamomile cleansing balm (best make up remover out)

Theyhaveallbeenused2 · 15/05/2018 16:37

Soyo they have just released the ginger conditioner. I swear by the shampoo can't wait to try the conditioner

SoyYo · 15/05/2018 16:41

Indeed they I've spotted it and think DH will love it (I'll have to double check ingredients for no alcohol/silicones first but super happy with banana conditioner and rainforest Moisture range)

Just waiting for a big offer to pop in my inbox as I need to stock up again soon.

I'm obsessed with their Moringa body butter and hemp hand cream and I panic when I run low! Grin

Alpacages · 15/05/2018 16:51

Thank you for this thread OP, reminded me I needed to order Ginger Shampoo!
I also love White Musk Perfume and the hand creams are great too and smell really nice. I’ve just bought Grapefruit and Mango.

toffee1000 · 15/05/2018 16:57

They have Body Yogurts (yes American spelling) which are new, like the body butters but thinner/absorb faster.

(Don’t get me started on Body Shop, it’s one of my ASD obsessions GrinGrinGrin)

SoyYo · 15/05/2018 17:04

toffee I get you! Grin
I only listed my "top" products in this thread, could list lots more! LOL

collywobble · 15/05/2018 21:18

Thank you everyone for your ideas . I'm compiling a list as we speak . I think this may cost me more than I thought. Anyone had any joy with Tea tree range for teenage acne ?

OP posts:
SoyYo · 15/05/2018 21:25

Yes colly my DC really liked it when they were spotty teens and I used to add it to my body shop online orders. They rated the face wash highly

collywobble · 16/05/2018 13:59

Thank you Soyo I will give that a try too then

SandysMam · 16/05/2018 14:14

I love the lip butters (not the balms), they are the only thing that sort my chapped lips out. I think they prices are a bit more realistic in there now. At one point they were trying to be up there with Clinique etc which put me off. Oooh the curly mascara is amazing too!

ThreeJoeys · 16/05/2018 23:20

I like their matte lip liquid and the almond milk and honey body butter, and papaya shower gel.

WhoKnowsWhereTheW1neGoes · 16/05/2018 23:30

The ginger shampoo is great and always excluded from discounts so you wouldn't get it cheaper online. I hated the rainforest range when I was doing Curly Girl though, made my hair very lanky.

Almond hand cream, almond oil cuticle pen, tea tree spot gel, Lipscuff (if they still sell it) are my other favourites.

toffee1000 · 17/05/2018 00:51

The ginger shampoo smells amazing. Must check out the conditioner.

tigercub50 · 17/05/2018 00:56

Peppermint foot lotion is fab ( if they still do it). I also used to love the pink grapefruit showergel ( tried a cheaper brand but it had that horrid chemically “ undersmell” if there is such a word!).

Eminybob · 17/05/2018 01:39

Peppermint foot lotion - now there is a blast from the past!
