Clueless what colour goes with shorts

I bought some cream/light beige shorts last summer, they are quite dressy. But im clueless what colour to wear them with!! Can anyone help??

Black, dark green, white?

A bright coral
Anything patterned that has a bit of cream of beige

also dye the shorts black

Any colour except the same colour!

Do you think a mustard colour would go?

Beige is a neutral. You can wear any colour you like with it!

The only things mustard goes with is roast beef or smoked mackerel.

A white or pale blue cotton shirt.

Not mustard I don't think so, no.
Navy matches cream.

Errol I disagree. It definitely goes well with a ham sandwich on white bread.

These are my shorts and the mustard top, excuse its creased look, just come out of the ironing pile!!

2 other tops that im looking at buying aswell. Just trying to get my holiday wardrobe sorted.

those shorts look 'greyish' enough to cope with that quite yellowy mustard I think? A warmer beige wouldn't have worked probably!

I think the yellow would work! Those shorts look quite floaty so I'd go with a more fitted top to avoid you looking shapeless.

Yes the yellow top looks good with the shirts so I take it all back, although the top is more yellow than mustard. Nice shorts op.
