Le Pilage as Ryanair second Handbag?

Has anyone taken the small shopper / tote
( 25 x 25 x 14) as the second carry on bag successfully on Ryanair? The allowed dimensions are 35 x 20 x 20. Wonder if I'd get away with it?

They didn't seem to worry with mine which was oversized both to the UK and return leg. They were more concerned to check I didn't have alcohol in my bag. Hardly, not at the UK airport prices!
