Home permanent hair removal

I am fed up with my awful tash that I get, which I have to tweeze and shave. It makes me so self conscious to the point I struggle to talk to people as I feel like they will notice it.
I have been trying to get good reviews on at home hair removal and it seems the tria 4x laser, or the Philips is best. However I don't know how reliable reviews are on some websites. It's a large purchase for me, so Im hoping some other mumsneters have recommendations that can help me!
Thank you for reading Smile

I've been using a Phillips Lumea for about 6 months, although I often forget to do it. Have only been doing armpits and tache but both are much improved. I do find the smaller attachment not quite small enough for the middle bit of tache though, so you may want to consider that.

Armpits are amazingly better, almost entirely hair free now.

I bought a Lumea about 2 months ago. Have only down 2 or 3 treatments but have already noticed a huge reduction in the regrowth.
It took my legs about a week to get to the state they are normally in after 1 day after shaving!

Slippery - do you shave your face first before using the Lumea? I've used one for a while but really didn't want to shave first. It didn't seem to have any effect and I guess that's why. But the thought of prickly stubble is a bit scary!

Could you not use hair remover cream instead and then use the Lumea on the short regrowth?

Thanks everyone, looks like I will go for the lumea!
