I've been using Tigi bed head. It's okay. I'm looking for something a bit more effective.

I would be careful not to over wash it. So only one dose of shampoo and look at the ingredients; if it has sodium laureate sulphate in it, it will strip the natural oils from your scalp I never use stuff with that in it.

There are good natural ones I use Mistry products which are not expensive and have NO nasties in it..Use a good conditioner , I use water softener too and almond oil treatment once month! You can also use almond oil for the flyaway hairs (just rub it between your hands before lightly putting it on the ends !!)

Oh another important thing to remember is to eat healthily! That makes a big difference to the texture of your hair.

Macadamia shampoo, conditioner and masque from allbeauty. It's changed my life. My hedgerow hair actually shines now. I will never buy anything else again.

Kerastasse range is lovely but pricey. I’ve just purchased a shampoo & conditioner from HASK (£6.99 a bottle from Boots or Superdrug). Caroline Hirons highly rates this brand so I’m going to give it a try 😀

Check if you've got hard water as that can make your hair incredibly dry, "sticky" and dull. If you have, try the Malibu hard-water treatment sachets - they're AMAZING!

Try co-washing. My hair is very straight and fine but double-processed, and it looks so much softer and shinier since I started. I co-wash 2 out of 3 washes. Any silicone-free conditioner seems to work fine.
AND try biotin. It's dead cheap and many people swear by it.
