Playsuits

So are playsuits considered a classic now? I have only worn them for nights out with tights usually, and high heels. But am wondering if I can get away with one for daytime, with trainers/flat sandals/ in a casual way like I'd wear shorts. I particularly like this one. I'm late 40's, size 4/6, 5 ft 5, toned legs. What do we think? knees are in good nick (apart from a couple of scars)

Yes perfectly fine on a hot day with flat shoes. Not much different to a shorts and top really if you think about it. Really don’t like the All Saints one though, the cleavage is verging on the obscene, the colour is yuck and the overly long sleeves just look weird. Sorry! Just my opinion though so feel free to totally ignore

LOL, I wasn't asking if it was overpriced or anything. I like a slouchy blouse, and like slouchy shorts. So thought the two together would make life simple.

I think that would not suit many people, OP, sorry. It's not even great on the model, TBH.

Yeah, I get it's not to everyone's liking. But if I wear shorts, I tend to wear longish sleeves. I have long arms so tend to look for things with overly long sleeves anyway. Plus khaki suits my colouring.

I might get to a shop and try it on. It looks like the type of thing I would wear, but as separates

I think it could really work on someone with good slim legs

It is a bit different, and fashionforward and I like it.

Like you (and unlike the model!) This kind of sludge colour really works with my skintone

Your measurements mean that you must be very slim op; this style with all the excess material will swamp you.

Well I tried it on, was huge, still like the idea and also the colour. So bought this instead It looks much better

Hmmm, the one I have (long trousers though) needs to be unzipped and it’s dufficult to zip it back up! If this is “pullable”, it might be easier 🤔

This would look amazing on my slim 5ft10 sister but hideous on my 5ft3 cruvy (not a euphamism!) frame. Allsaints do some beautiful silk playsuits (Ebay!) but short shorts end up wedged in my bum which is not a very aspirational look. You can always send it back if it's no good OP?
