Quality alternative to H&M?

I love H&M clothing. Any time I find myself on their website, I end up spending far more than I mean to.

BUT, the quality of the clothes is really poor - even in the Conscious/Premium part of the label. The shape drops out after one wash, holes appear, and it's just too wasteful. Plus, I'm looking to spend more on fewer clothes and get a more ethical situation going on now I can afford to (not super wealthy but comfortable).

Can anyone recommend some good alternatives to H&M? I'm a size 12, pear shape, and trying to slim down to a 10 while keeping the thighs and ass 😂

& Other Stories is the same group but far better quality. I absolutely love their stuff

Ooh, I've not heard of them, Poobum (😂) - thank you!

Two more in the same group: Cos and Arket.

How about cos/ arket/ &other stories. Same company but they are slightly more premium. I find cos quality to be quite good. &other stories less so. Uniqlo is ok, but i actually find that h&m merino sweaters wash better. M&s has some good stuff if you can be bothered searching through the granny-tat. Jack wills is really well made and in natural fabrics, but obvs. you can only wear the odd un-labelled bit or you'll look like your teenaged daughter. I have found whistles and jigsaw to be of varying quality... One whistles jumper in merino lasted 3 washes.

Oops. Too slow!

Arket. I’ve been really surprised by the high quality. It’s COS for people who can’t wear COS (I need waists in my clothes).

I'm really enjoying Monki at the minute - similar prices to H&M but much more fun and much better quality I think.

Thanks so much for all the suggestions - lots of places I've not tried yet.

I love Uniqlo, just need to size up!
