Thin cami to go under see through tops?

OnTopOfSpaghetti · 11/05/2018 16:26

I have a few thin white t shirt type tops which would go really well with some of my summer trousers, except I hadn't realised how see through they are until I got them home! I work in a school so can't really go around flashing my braShockGrin
Any recommendations for thin cami style vests I could wear underneath? I get quite hot and sweatyBlush so really can't have anything too thick. Thanks.

I'm not in the uk so can't recommend specific shops, but I got a black and a white cami in the lingerie department of a department store.

They are plain and made of a nice slinky material so sit nicely under other tops. Being actual lingerie they have adjustable straps too.

May be worth a look?

Unqlio do tank cotton tops and as do next - they have wider straps so bra straps not showing. I would make also make sure I wear a smooth bra so lumps from lace showing. If you stick to cotton you shouldn’t get too sweaty.

Jigsaw have these brilliant lace trim camis, really soft fabric, adjustable straps and every colour under the sun

LIZS · 11/05/2018 16:35

M and s have camivests.

I'm in a similar situation and have found the cheap asda ones do the job nicely.

Squaffle · 11/05/2018 16:39

Primark and H&M do lots of colours with thin or thick straps.

newcupcake · 11/05/2018 16:41

Second primark

NeverHadANickname · 11/05/2018 16:47

Primark and Matalan usually have a good selection and are cheap.

Loonoon · 11/05/2018 16:56

Primark do them in wide range of colours with thin adjustable straps. They are cotton jersey with a little Lycra so very comfortable to wear and wash very well. .And they cost about £2. I love them.

Raven88 · 11/05/2018 17:24

I have got a few at Asda they are quite good.

OnTopOfSpaghetti · 11/05/2018 17:48

Great ideas everyone thank you. I will have a look at your suggestions.

The Airism camis from Uniqlo would keep you cool. I LOVE the ones with the built in bra, but I am not very well endowed and am not sure how well they would work for the more busty.

StepAwayFromTheEcclesCakes · 11/05/2018 18:14

google bamboo vest, they are soft and lovely. failing that yes check out Primarks underwear section, I got some lovely stretchy lace vests there for my mum.

badg3r · 11/05/2018 19:04

Another vote for uniqlo airism

Mueslibox · 12/05/2018 00:24

Primark

Deathraystare · 12/05/2018 10:45

I got a few last year from TK Maxx - including a stretchy vest type that is shapewear and very good it is too. I bought others with thinner straps .

OnTopOfSpaghetti · 12/05/2018 11:06

I had a look at the Airism ones from Uniqlo but they are quite expensive, I think they'd be perfect though! I may get one and see how I get on with it, then a trip to Primark for some cheapies!

I like the silk and cotton ones from H&M.
