Help me look more stylish....

Hello lovely ladies
Please help! I’m 44 and feeling frumpy so looking for inspiration about what to wear that’s slightly more stylish than my usual jeggings/vest/trainers that I live in.
I just wasn’t born with that way of looking effortless and lovely.
I’m size 8, small of boob and waist but with a definite tummy.
I’d like some casual but stylish clothes for the summer so any suggestions very welcome.

Go out with a stylish friend shopping for the day, and watch what she tries on, what she buys and what she rejects. Ask her why those choices.

You sound as though you have a lovely neat figure, so it's all about looking past your comfort zone. Do you have any events coming up that you need to buy clothes for, like a holiday, family party or wedding? Having something specific to search for can be easier than a general request for stylish but casual.

Real jeans in a new-to-you shape? Tops that are patterned rather than plain? Sandals instead of trainers? Some up to date accessories? You need to train your eye, so go somewhere, anywhere, that you might not normally go, and try the colours and shapes that hit you. It doesn't have to be fancy.
