Help... I hate my haircut

I've just come back from getting my haircut and really don't like it.

I paid £35 for a stylist but I'm not happy with the result. I went in without a clear picture of what I wanted because I wanted to talk it through with the stylist and get their opinion/advice too. But she didn't really offer any help or ask me any questions, she just brought over an ipad and asked me to look through some images and pick out what I liked.

She did the cut really quickly and I have these layers that I think are blocky. When she finished cutting she asked if I was happy with the length- I hadn't realised she had finished and thought she was going to shape/ do something else so said yes- but then she proceeded to dry and curl my hair. The cut looks okay with a wave/curl but now the curl is dropping I don't think it will look good with my natural/straight hair.

I'm not sure what to do. I've never complained or gone back to a hairdressers before- I'm worried it will be incredibly awkward. I'm also worried that they will say that it's my fault as I didn't have a clear idea of what I wanted and when she asked if I was happy with the length I said yes. I don't really want to see the same stylist again anyway- as I said I felt like she did it really quickly and didn't think about how to help me, or work with me particularly.

I guess I'm just really disappointed because I don't have much spare money to spend on getting my hair done and was really looking forward to it. I have the day off work so wanted to treat myself, as I don't really have time to do this sort of thing and I just feel sad and deflated.

I think your hair looks similar to the third picture however the difference is that your hair is more fine and shorter than the model’s. Which is why your hair doesn’t really resemble hers perfectly although the cut is similar, and probably why you don’t like it. It should look better as it grows out, but I appreciate that you wanted your desired style at the salon appointment.

I think your stylist cut your back layers too short too, the model’s seem to be longer than yours even though the overall length is short

Please help. My hair has always been my pride and joy. I figured since it is pretty damn healthy, it could deal with some bleach damage. And I figured the master stylist who did all the color-corrections would know how much would be too much. I was wrong, and now I want to burst into tears every time I look at my hair or touch it. I just don't know what to do. My hair has also NEVER been shorter than this and it breaks and falls out. What should I do to regrow hair?

@EstelleWalker74 get a treatment at the salon (eg olaplex) and use masks at home. Get a small trim to even out the breakage. Start taking multivitamin tablets or hair supplements. If it really looks that bad, consider getting extensions to cover your natural hair up as it grows out.
