Old hands

I am 40 but my hands look incredibly old. 15 - 20 years older. The rest of me looks my age or younger.

Can I do anything? Handcream doesn't work.

Does anyone's hands match the rest of them!
I remember this being a thing at school when we were only young teens - 'old lady hands', something we were supposed to be worried about Confused - but it's not something other people will really notice as something that contributes to the age they mentally put you at, surely?

Mine definitely caught 'un coup de vieux' since getting too much sun last summer & are even older looking after this winter but tbh I don't really care.
They'll probably perk up a bit this summer OP but I guess only regularly applying moisturiser will give the appearance of smoother skin? I do now put factor 50 on them when it's sunny.

Hand chemistry by Deciem is really good.
You need to give it time, but it works deeper than most hand creams.
Lactic acid is also good at bedtime.

Oh and an SPF of 50.
I use those ones designed for the face in the little tubes from Superdrug. About 2.50.

Tretinoin or an over the counter retinol (which will take longer)

And spf 50. Always.

Lasers for age spots.

Try a normal retinol cream.
