Hi, has anyone been to Mark Anderson recently, I think there was a thread about him being recommend a short while ago but I can’t find it.
I emailed him on Friday, enquiring about appointment availability but not heard anything back as yet.

I have been. It was a great experience. He's very friendly and determined to make you look your best self. He may have gone away for the weekend, so I'd wait to hear from him a few more days, then drop him another mail. He updates his regulars with his holiday schedule, so they can work their cuts/colour in.
My hair cut is the best I've ever had. I won't be going to anyone else in future. My feeling is that this style will grow into something beautiful, so I may not need another cut for 3-4 months.

WHere is he? And what’s price for a cut please?

dontcallmelen · 07/05/2018 23:01

@DianaT1969 thank you, was hoping that was the case I was a bit worried that he hadn’t replied, as I think my email was slightly desperate sounding, I was really fed up & feeling particularly rubbish about my hair/face the day I emailed 😳
@Tollygunge he is based in dulwich south east London.

It's £130 for a cut. Other prices are on his website. He used to be a session stylist and worked in fashion and with celebrities. He now works out of his home between travels.

I hope you heard back from him. I went today after making an appointment after reading the other thread. He's been overwhelmed by Mumsnet demand! (In a good way.)

I am a scruffbag who hadn't had a hair cut in 18 month. My appointment flew by, he made me feel great about myself and my hair, and I got a bit teary at the final result. It's the most I've ever spent on a cut but worth it all. Anyone contemplating it should take a leap of faith. DH (kindly) reckons I look in my 20s, but I'd go for 30s myself - add a few years on in reality.

Sid
I'm glad you had a good experience. It's been around 8 weeks since my haircut and it still hangs beautifully. It's the one thing I don't have to think about as I get ready to go out.

Just thought I would post an update, I went to see Mark yesterday had the most brilliant haircut & hilights are the best I have ever had.
Well worth the money & he is really nice, makes you feel very comfortable.
