Hi, I wonder if anyone has any experience of laser skin lightening?
I have vitiligo which I'm learning to accept.
It is particularly bad in my groin and genital area (sorry if tmi)
I've come to accept that there's not a lot that can be done to address the vitiligo, however I'm hoping that laser lightening might help to blend it a little.
The vitiligo has developed in a way that is almost identical to a bikini tan line (but all the way underneath too)
The problem is that the skin around the edges of these lines is very heavily pigmented, which makes the contrast much much worse.
I'm looking into laser treatment to try and fade these lines and blend in the difference a little,
Does anyone have any experience of laser skin lightening? Does it work? And how expensive is it?
This issue is causing me a lot of anxiety and upset and I really don't feel great about myself at all.
I guess I'm holding on to the hope that this will at least help me look a bit more normal down there
