White jeans

I've wanted a pair for at least 20 years but they are either see through or don't fit on both the waist & bottom.

Any recommendations gratefully received. Have looked at M&S and do find them see through especially when no back pockets.

I don't want jeggings or treggings just jeans ideally not super skinny.

I recently got these uniqlo jeans in white and they're definitely not see-through, it's quite sturdy denim.

TentUpFirstBunkUpLater · 06/05/2018 15:01

I find the Next white skinny jeans a good fit and not see through at all

rightknockered · 06/05/2018 15:09

I have these and definitely not see through

Bluntness100 · 06/05/2018 15:10

I've Tommy Hilfiger ones and they aren't remotely see through.

Is Liz Hurley a mumsnetter? She'd be full of advice for this question!

MayFayner · 06/05/2018 17:32

Perhaps Liz is already on the thread.

I tried Reiss' Raven jeans in white in their sale and was totally unimpressed with how see through they were given their pre-sale price!

Ended up buying these at a fraction of the cost and they're lovely:

I have been searching high and low for white jeans forever..... They are either too tight or too thick, too low on the stomach or too expensive. Then someone fabulous on here recommended Boden Trafalgar white jeans. I am not a Boden person but ordered them for a try.

Well, they are fantastic.

I have a couple of pairs of white jeans from Gap and they are not see-through. I prefer ankle-length/girlfriend style. I think they have a good range of medium-rise jeans at the moment.

I also have a pair of cropped Holly jeans from Hush and they are not see-through although they are a lighter denim than Gap.

Banyan beat me to.it. I have white Boden Trafalgars and they are brill. A few years ago I had Boden white straight jeans too.
Good quality and fit.
I.have bought, and immediately ebayed, both M&S and Next. The Next are like see through parchment. Just awful.

LaGattaNera · 06/05/2018 19:58

oh I liked the look of the Boden Trafalagars but my size 10 reg is not in stock

I bought some Primark white jeans. Had looked for months for a decent thick pair. It's worth a trawl as these are great.

keiratwiceknightly · 07/05/2018 08:19

Nude pants are your friend under white jeans then no worries about occasional seethroughness

Bluntness100 · 07/05/2018 09:02

Agree, I always wear nude undies under white clothing regardless.

TacoFlavouredKisses · 07/05/2018 15:01

They won't help if you're partial to a breton stripe bodysuit though Grin

Found a pair for £16 in Tesco - very nice - an inch too big on waist but got a belt from Primani and it works well.
