Which bag for a job interview?

I am interviewing for a graduate program in IT.

These are my choices. I do not have an office bag or any other bags other than backpacks or small going out bags.

First and third are crossbody.

Second is shoulder.

First one but I would hold by the smaller handles. Cross body might not look as professional. Good luck

Ginmakesitallok · 06/05/2018 00:15

Trust me - they won't care

HateSummer · 06/05/2018 00:17

Anything as long as it’s not a blue carrier bag or tesco one! Good luck 😉

DramaAlpaca · 06/05/2018 00:23

The interviewers are unlikely to notice or care, tbh.

But I agree with the pp who said the first one carried by the handles will look more professional. I'd probably unclip the long strap & take it off.

Best of luck in your interview.

Thank you! I will use the first one and remove the handles.

That first bag is huge. It wouldn't count against you but I would be a little distracted wondering what on earth you are carrying in your humungous bag.

DrowningEveryDay · 06/05/2018 02:27

I don't have any other bag though except for backpacks.

I would think you would need a bag of that size. I think it's useful to take examples of your work e.g. Dissertation or reference from a work experience or part time job. I know that's not style and beauty but I thought I'd add that as advice from someone whose done lots of job applications recently.
