Stubborn pigmentation - what to do?

I have really stubborn pigmentation on my face. That’s from years of travelling in hot countries without properly protecting my skin Sad

My face looks like a world map :( I had 5 microdermasion treatments in the last few months. They reduced the pigmentation a bit, but my face is still far from clear. I’ve been religiously using spf 50 suncrean.

Is there anything else I can do? I hate to give up.

Have you dried a derma roller? Or how about proper retinol? I use both and my old acne scar have defo improved

Please can you tell me more about Derma roller and retinol? What exactly do I need to do?

I've got melasma on my face, which is noticeable and can't be covered by make up... I'm no longer trying to 'clear' it, just stop it getting worse. Confused
I've got Paula's Choice retinol - although it makes you MORE sun sensitive, so I'm easing off it during sunnier weather. So far, so good though!
Was your microdermabrasion expensive?
