Low/flat summery shoes, not sandals, suitable for the office?

I think I'm after the holy grail here, but can anyone recommend anything please?

I work in an office that gets quite hot. We can't wear sandals or flip flops, but the dress code is very vague and I think it's only flip flops and open toed that are an issue. I'm currently stomping around it in brogues, ankle boots, and Doc Martens but need something lighter for summer.

I'm planning on wearing them with palazzo trousers, 3/4 length trousers, dresses and leggings, so they do need to be good, neutral all-rounders.

Any ideas?

Toms? They have many styles and colours and work well with the outfits you mention.

I'd never have considered Toms, but I've just had a quick look and I think they'll be perfect, thank you!

I love these Too flat for me. I'd fall over backwards in them but I love them.

Clarks Taylor Palms. I don't think they're selling them any more, but they're still available in various online shops. Closed toe so should satisfy your work policy, but open at the side so nice and cool.

I like the look of these from Fitflop (but can't justify any new shoes this summer, already have too many!).
