Body exfoliater recommendation

littlepooch · 05/05/2018 20:03

Can anyone recommend me a good body scrub? Preferably reasonably priced!
I've been used those scrubby gloves but I think I need something that packs a bit more of a punch particularly where I get such bad ingrown hairs. Any suggestions?

Thank you x

Soap & glory flakeaway is amazing stuff or Superdrug Vitamin A scrub has good reviews but I’ve not used it for years.

Nicpem1982 · 05/05/2018 21:05

Tesco has a range called Calcot Manor, have tried the scrub and the body oil, it's lovely products, and very reasonable, often on offer too

A handful of sugar from your kitchen cupboard mixed with your normal shower gel will do the job just as well as anything you can buy!

lovemylover · 06/05/2018 09:27

Olive oil mixed with sugar,is really good and cheap, not too much olive oil or will not give a good enough texture for scrub, but leaves skin feeling lovely

HildaZelda · 06/05/2018 11:07

Soap&Glory Sugar Crush. Smells amazing too. S&G Flakeaway is also quite good.

AnarchyKitty · 06/05/2018 11:09

Bomb Cosmetics Scrubology. It's blooming marvellous!

CantChoose · 06/05/2018 11:32

Another vote for soap and glory sugar crush. It's effective but not too scratchy and it smells lovely.

ReanimatedMuse · 06/05/2018 11:59

Another vote for soap and glory. Really moisturising and smells lovely.

Try using a body brush on dry skin before you get in the shower. Very effective and no gritty mess.

Ollivander84 · 06/05/2018 17:38

If you want REALLY scrubby then a Salux cloth off amazon. Got one this week and dead skin is gone Grin

TacoFlavouredKisses · 06/05/2018 17:40

Ooh I can attest to S&G Sugar Crush and Salux cloths being wonderful (possibly not together if you want to have any skin left).

Mytribeof3 · 06/05/2018 19:25

How often should I be exfoliating? Is once a week enough?

Angryangryyoungwoman · 06/05/2018 19:28

Olive oil and a mixture of sugar and salt works perfectly for me

littlepooch · 06/05/2018 20:10

Amazing thanks guys!

Am intrigued by these salux cloths- any recommendations for which one to get?
