Are these ugly?

I keep nearly buying these then stop. I need some going out shoes that are flat and liked these as they’re silver and not totally open at the toe.
Would they work with trousers and dresses? Any other recommendations for shoe styles for flat going out shoes?

Link not working but someone made them, someone else probably bought them so there must be people that don’t think they’re ugly

I think they're lovely. They would make my feet burn because they're synthetic but I like the style. Fine with both trousers and dresses IMO

Some people will love them, some will hate them. if you like them, then go for it

I like the style and I love silver, but maybe this particular shade of silver is a bit too shiny?

BusterGonad · 05/05/2018 14:21

Too much like primary school sandals for my liking. Sorry Op

MyGastIsFlabbered · 05/05/2018 15:00

I love them. Am almost tempted to buy them but I don't need any sandals.

Disclaimer: I have dubious taste!

Spam88 · 05/05/2018 15:05

They're pretty ugly yeah, although I have a friend who can pull off shoes like this. I think they'd look terrible with trousers though...very, er, granny chic?

twolittleboysonetiredmum · 05/05/2018 15:20

See I think I move between them looking like they’d be comfy and then them being too old fashioned. Hmm. I recognise this is hardly a big decision by the way. But nonetheless

I don't think they're ugly, OP. It's difficult to find pretty, flat shoes and sandals. I really like them and I reckon they're pretty versatile, too.

Peanutbuttercups21 · 05/05/2018 15:55

They look quite pretty and delicate to me. Grin

They'd look wrong maybe with work trousers, but nice with a dress or skirt and bare legs, or even skinny jeans

Not old fashioned or "old lady-ish" (whatever the flip that means!) at all

Bugjune · 05/05/2018 17:06

Well at least they're not the ubiquitous MN Salwater sandals. My heart sinks every time someone mentions those depressing articles.

SwedishEdith · 05/05/2018 18:05

They look too flat to be comfortable and I suspect the sole will be stiff and inflexible. But they're not ugly.

PinkLipsDontLie · 05/05/2018 18:14

I don't like them sorry, too shiny for my taste and synthetic. And I am not partucularly fond of the design either.
I don't know your style but I go for greek minimalist leather sandals and choose either tan, or metallics (lots of options, rose gold, gold, silver, sand..). There are many shops on etsy that sell these.

Like the style but not colour...
